diy spring wreath

this weekend i made a monogrammed spring wreath for our front door. it was a super easy project, just uber time consuming. and i burned my fingers. a lot.

i cut out an "R" for Rhoden from 3 pieces of foam core board, glued them together and painted it green to mask any areas i might miss with the moss. I didn't really worry about the shape being cut perfectly because the next step will hide any imperfections.

next i used a hot glue gun to glue tons and tons and tons of moss onto the front and sides of the foam letter. then i tied a ribbon around the top of the loop on the "R" in a simple bow and hung it up on our front door. easy peasy.
